I have been reading some of sarah horniks tutorials and I LOVE her use of DH Kronos. Would really like to give it a try, but I can only find Kronos 2 so I'm assuming original Kronos is no longer available?
Has anyone worked with Kronos 2 and been impressed before I shell out 20 squid for it?!

I am not sure, but I think it is Kronos 2 Sarah is using. IMHO it is quite many years ago (in silver glass world 3-4 years is long time anyway...) Kronos 1 existed, I think I have had only Kronos 2 and it was one of the first if not the first DH glass I have bought.

thanks you!  ;D how do you find it to work with maija leena?

Huh, well, Kronos II has a pretty similar look to Kronos Original, which as you say is no longer available. KII is a bit easier and more consistent to use than the original. It's sort of a little boring compared to the newer Double Helix stuff but I like mine - you need to lightly reduce it. Goes sludgy if you overdo it. Have to say Clio over black gives a pretty similar result so if you have Clio you may not want to get the Kronos as the results will be similar.

This pic is Kronos II on red striker:

This is Clio on black:

Hope this helps

thanks sal, the clio one is stunning!  :o
dont have clio or Kronos, but if they are similar as you say I might treat myself to some clio instead. :)

Great beads, Sal! My experience is similar, reduce it little, but not too much. If you are working with Hothead, you do not have to do anything, the flame is reducing enough to Kronos IMO. I think it is very HH friendly silver glass.

(And thinking how the time flies, it seems just yesterday, when I had bought my first silver glasses and wondered here how to use them! Mary gave very good explanation of why the silver glasses act as they do, I understood it, but can not repeat it in English...)
