May be a daft question, but...

...how do I get all the loose bits of bead release out of hollows?  ???

Just made my first ones and I hadn't even thought about it until I took them off the mandrels!  :P

Ive been soaking the beads and then shaking them manically to get the big lumps to eventually dissolve and come out when I "blow" the water out of them. someone once suggested to me to put them in the dishwasher - but as i am the dishwasher then my way seems to be the manual equivalent!

You can also riddle around with a piece of wire and eventually they will break down and clean out - lots of rinsing with warm water and dance around like a maniac....

good luck!

Sounds like a pain in the a**e to me!  :D

What I do is run them under water but hold the bead as low down to the sink as possible and then poke it with the reamer.

needle - break up the big bits to get them out of the hole, then a good wash  ;D

Trudi

small plastic cup or yogurt pot - ad a little water and swirl round. It acts like a centrifuge and forces it out!

Break up the bits, wait until they're fully dry and then blow out like you're sucking eggs. Simples.
