I thought I was going mad - when I looked at my beads (I had made a set) one was definately more green than the others. And I thought I'd picked up the wrong glass. I keep all my colours in pipe tubes, so I thought I'd better go and make sure that they weren't mixed up. But no! Whrn I got to the rack - insdie the there are 2 shades of pale emerald - both labelled up from the supplier! I've never come across such a colour variation before!

I do like both shades, but I'm down to my last rod of the one on the right  ???

Hmm, the one on the left looks more like pale aqua ???  Very pretty beads though :D

how strange!!!

The one on the left looks like the emerald green i've got but i'd have to check, could well be the stuff on the right too!

just checked off mandrel's website as their photos are usually pretty accurate and their pale emerald is like the one on the left as well

I've got pale emerald that I got from the USA ages ago - before anyone had it over here. It looks more like the one on the left too.

Those bubbly beads are really getting everwhere now!

I love this colour, I have only just discovered it, my batch is more green than blue though, the blue does indeed look just like pale aqua

Helen,
I think this is one of the colours that Effetre made handmade first and now it's machinemade.
All the colours that first were handmade turn up worse I think when they are starting to be made machinaly. Also the effects with silverglasses don't work anymore (with me) when the batches are not handmade.
