Multicolour??!!

Those are very pretty beads Trudi.  It's all a bit of trial and error but some wonderful results are coming out and I love the purple.  Here's my set of multicolour dark beads (they are here somewhere else as well so apologies if you've seen them before)


I worked them hot then cooled, then tried to strike them, then did it again, even reduced them, then rolled them on one of the graphite shapers from Martin and they came out like this. They are about 15mm diameter at the widest.

I think the conclusion that can be drawn from those wonderful beads is that multicolour likes presses

When I used the beadpress for my multi colour lentils the glass had purples in it. Made a bead and reduced it, looked a bit pooey, but when it came out the kiln it had lovely aqua, green and purple on it! Going to play some more now with it. Lovely beads Diane and also Trudi beautiful colours
