Aion 2

Hi just received a nice bundle of aion2 from double helix, i'm a bit confused though, Tuffnels says its a reducing glass but double helix says its striking?

I tried to storm it but ended up with brown after working in a reducing flame??

Has anyone had any success with it?

Not a lot !  I'm pretty sure it is a reducing colour and if you should find the secret, please be sure to let me know !!

I thought it was reducing too. I managed to get some colour out of it but somehow it still looks pretty yukky. I just can't seem to find a combination that looks any good.

Anyone with the secret - tell me too please

I have had success with Aion frit.
You need to put it over the right colour, like a purple, or ink or another dark colour.
then it needs masses of reduction.
Then encase.
I make beads with 2 layers of frit heavily reduced then encased.

If you reduce the frit lots it seems to fume the rest.

It is definitely a reducer, but you can strike it to amber as well, or leave it pale. Try it over ivory - don't do too much with it or it goes grey, just apply it and watch! It reacts with rubino, or it goes hazy on its own (over clear here). One of my favourites!

Aaaaargh,

Still only getting green sludge from it. I dotted it on top of trans purple, the first dot went straight to green sludge as it cooled, the rest stayed trans, but by the time I had melted them in all poo?
