Hi all you expert bead makers,

Yesterday I made some beads with coral and black, I thought they would look really nice but when I got them out the kiln it looked like I took my inspiration from a packet of Frosties and they were not "Greaaaat" more like I'd taken tony the tiger and made a lentil and matching spacer beads out of him.

So my question really is can anyone show me some simple colour combinations that work with coral?

Are there any frits that look good on coral?

Any tips taken as I'm really useless as lampworking as I don't get too much torch time and I'm trying to make a 40th pressie for my friend who wears loads of coral coloured clothing.  I was thinking maybe ivory would be ok?

Cheers
Jessie (I would show you pictures but I don't have a camera  :(

These are not great, but might give you some inspiration. They were made with Jo's lovely shards, and I used Cim Sangria swirled with the coral so the beads shouldn't look quite so "solid" - that was the idea anyway  :):

Here are a couple of mine using Coral :)

I love Coral and Triton,

These are black, white and I'm pretty certain the orange is coral.

Here's some from me, the coral is mixed with powder pink to give a two tone coral effect with some silvered ivory shards and some handmade murrini!  ;D

I use coral all the time!  As you can see I like it with blue or turquoise lol.

A tiny bit on these with wasabi, amber and brown
