Raku......how frustrating!!

I was lucky enough to get a commission for a bracelet and necklace set,
jenny at work saw some of my other beads and wanted some thing lilacy.... i happened to have a bead in my pocket (as you do!)
an encased raku bead on a violet base. she loved it and wanted beads like that for the 40th pressie.
no problem i thought, i knew the base glass etc.
can i get the same colours? can i hell

the original had green in and the others are coming out paler,much more blue and cream, i have tried a few times over the last week.
any tips?

i must say i have made a set with the same base glass and song bird frit.....

unless she is a spy and has a photographic memory im sure she wont remember what they look like

Are you talking raku frit? and have you got soft heather frit from Beady Sam? I always mix it with the raku frit, then you get the pinks and purples from that, and the more organic colours from the raku. It works really well, I reckon!

Is it the same batch of Raku? It can vary a lot from batch to batch.
