What is going on  ???
No matter how cool I work this glass it frazzles  >:(
Short of forgetting the torch and just trying to melt it by rubbing two rods together I don't know what else to do  :-\

Is it just me?

Are you sure it's Khaki ?
I've never had any probs with it, and I've had it really hot

or maybe it could be a dodgy batch ? When did you buy it ?

bluefairy

No, it was one of the first glasses i used and the beads look like stone!!  :D

Bumpy Beads

I've had problems with it so I tend to use it in very small amounts and in cane and twisties. Nine times out of ten it's fine, but when it isn't fine it's horrid! I've had beads where the surface kind of flakes away in layers. And when that has happened I've not overcooked it, so I'm not quite sure what causes it to happen. I wouldn't buy it again.  :-\

Haven't tried khaki but pulsar just boils for me, lovely colour but i've given up bothering to try and use it.

with Pulsar Josephine it doesnt like tools too much, doesnt like to be heated and cooled. when you have done your bead roll it in the top of the flame and all the little bubbles go.

I have had 2 batches of khaki, an old one which boiled and was nasty and a new batch which is fine, do you want me to send a rod of the batch I have to try it?

I have to email Kathy at CiM later about something... I'll point her in the direction of this thread. She's always so fab if any issues arise with any glass.
