Lush!

I love this glass, LOVE IT!

And now I've got lots of it I was really indulgent and made some nuggets

So what's everybody else doing with Aurae?

Lush!

Go make another one, Claire!   ;D

Sorry, I can't help it - I have to show these two off as well!

Lush!

Love the Aurae over Mystic Pink, Claire - you inspired me to give that a try (and it worked  ;)).

Is your Aurae one of the odds direct from DH, Colette?  Its gorgeous, mysterious and gentle  ;D

Does anybody ever use Tongue Pink?  I picked up a pack at the Flame Off and its intriguing me - goes great with Aurae!

I love this glass..not sure if it has replaced Triton in my affections though.
Gorgeous bead Julie.

Here is a clear hollow from me with Aurae scrolls, it has fumed the hole bead so it all shimmers.

Josephine

Some more from me.
This is clear with Aurae raked design and ends.

These two are both ivory with Aurae dots encased in clear. The focal has gone a really deep golden brown where the Aurae has reacted with the ivory/fumed it.

Trudi

ooh lots of good tips and inspiration on here!!

I've only made a quick scroll

but dying to have a real good play this weekend!

I love those lentils and the big hole sc beads, gorgeous.

I have made some aurora beads that I might add to others to make a necklace, haven't decided yet though, its these below.

A couple of others I made as well, just playing at the moment

oh and both these beads have Aurora in them, the blue focal is dotted with it and has some inside and the tube bead has just a couple of dots of it. Both look better in person.

I have decided I like this glass, its very easy to strike to a bright shiny finish but I haven't mastered more subtle colours yet, bit more practice.

Everyone is gifted, its just that some leave the wrapping on longer than others

Lush!

Those are beautiful Lesley, I really love the long tube bead.

I had some aurae shards custom made for me  ;) and I made lentils and a couple of big round focals with Effetre clear.

and this one is over a transparent deep violet

My only complaint about this amazing glass is that its a bugger to photograph!

This is aurae & dark ivory

Well my love affair with Aurae continues, nearly out now as I only had two rods  :'( just enough left for a few stringers.

Love all those lentils Kaz, and I really love how it reacted with dark ivory on Sarahs bead.

This is an Aurae set which is part of a series of DH silver glass beads I've been working on, I love all the DH's and wanted to find a shape and style that really shows it off.

Veebee

Please excuse the rubbish photos! Same beads on different backgrounds, aurae swirls with coloured transparent dots

I made these crystals and it looks close up as if there are shimmering rainbows running through!

Lush!

Super stunning bracelet, Anouk!

I used clear as a base for these "shimmer" beads too.

Here we are, I got some with my birthday voucher - lucky for Martin he still had some ;D

Just a quick play, with a thin layer, will try using a bit more next time.
I absolutely love it, it is so obliging! :)
