I'm very organised with some stuff and utterly chaotic with others    Compare the kitchen to my glass area.

Prompted by this little problem a few weeks ago I had this idea, that I would make a bead with a base of every colour with dots on of every other colour.  I worked out how many different types of glass I had and then calculated how many beads that would be.  I thought that 10 thousand was a lot of beads, but doable and I would learn loads about different glasses and what colours really worked together.  Turns out I miscalculated, there would be over a hundred thousand...    So now I am trying to restrict test pairs to when I am looking for something specific or I have an idea that I want to investigate.  I mean for the love of god where am I going to put 100000+ beads?

I may have some ... if you'd like a rod each to try?  But I'm slightly brassick at the mo, so you'd have to cover the postage!

I rather like the halo effect of med red on lapis - not for your dotty beads but I just might try it for a fish.

I have a nice unique Pumpkin Yellow - if you don't have it, I can bring you a couple of rods on Friday if you like?

Ooo, that would be interesting, yes please.

I think you're right that the halo where useless for what I'm trying to do at the mo will be perfect for other stuff.  This is why I am keeping them all and labelling them so that I don't have to re discover them.
