Pink filigrano

I like it  I tend have my oxy 2 1/2 to 3 and work at the back of the flame , so far I haven't found any shocky rods tried pink,blue and red

I've never had any problems with it either , but then I have had it gathering dust for a few years, so maybe it's a batch issue ?

I got mine when Martin was putting some in with the orders a few months back , I will always take these rods as donations if anyone really really dislikes it

The pink I got from Martin I've never had an issue with, but I bought one from Frantz which has a rubino cased white core and is simply eeeeeeevil    If you'd like to try it Karen, you're more than welcome *sniggers*

I read pink in the title of this post and immedialty thought "this is going to be about shocky glass".

I have trouble with ALL pink, including the bullseye variety. There must be something in the pigment which does it. Any mixture of glass, especially mixtures of opaque and clear will tend to be shocky because the different colours absorb and radiate heat at different rates. The slower you heat the more evenly the two colours will change temperature.

I have to admit to not having too much trouble with effetre filigrano pink though.
