Pinks help

Hi folks

I have been asked by a friend of mine if I could make her daughter a "girly pink" pendant and bracelet for Christmas.

Not had a lot of experience with pinks and not sure what would be the ebst colours to go for.

Any advice would be gratefully received

I like effetre 256 and 260 with touches of Rubino. I find the opaque pinks like to be worked quite cool and struck to get the best out of them as does Rubino of course  

This is 256 I think?! with tiny Rubino dots on the flowers.

This may help - if you find a shade you like you can always ask what colour it is.

My neice is pink daft, but she really likes deeper pinks like Rubino or pink lady.

you get some nice beads - and I'm sure if you found some beads you liked, people here would be able to suggest what colours were used.

cim gellys sty is a girly pink.

effetre baby pink is nice, but I tend to just use their light pink cause its not much lighter, but alot cheaper!

for a transparent I like cim blush, good over white sparkle pixie dust & czs.

I was making pink beads recently - and struggling!  I now know that rubino reacts with some other colours and goes black and horrid - I think it was purple and ivory that caused most problem (bit of a shame as the person wanted a pink and purple bead).  Also I found that Reichenbach opal raspberry didn't play nicely for me (but I am relatively new to this game).  I did eventually make a suitable bead, but stupidly didn't note the name so that's not much help - it was an effetre pink though and not cheap!!  Personally, I've gone off pink!

Hi with rubino - it's best to work in a neutral flame - if you're on a hot head just work a little further out!
