Nyx what am i doing wrong

For the first time today i got some lovely metalicy colours out of nyx but lost it again kept trying to get it back but no luck .
what am i doing wrong

Remember you need to reduce it slightly to get the colours?
It can burn very easily and you'll get a mucky brown so you need to gently waft it in a smallish bushy flame. At least - that works for me!

Yep, I second what Sal says, once you have burned it, its hopeless.
Gentle wafting is the trick, not too hot.

Yeah sorry I forgot, Tan is so right you have to pray as well, preferably on your knees, which is not easy when you are making a bead.

Practice practice practice though, as ever.

who kneels? The gods will only accept lying full length on shards of shattered glass, whilst screaming shrilly and wearing odd socks, but be warned the socks have to be certain colours on certain days

I guess this is where I have been going wrong Tan, I thought kneeling would suffice, obviously more pain is required before success can be properly achieved.

Hmmm....well I'm fine with the odd socks bit, got that one down to a fine art already. Not so sure about the nekkid bit - don't want to frighten the gods off...
