ASK 104 with Hothead

Hello

My lovely hubby bought me a bundle of ASK 104 for Christmas, knowing I've been drooling over it for a while...

Is there anything I need to know about using it with a Hothead (on propane rather than MAPP) before I start?  I've looked around the web for any hints and tips specific to Hotheads and ASK and can't find anything.  Either there's nothing specific I should know, or everyone's keeping quiet

I'm dying to have a play but am confined to sofa-with-laptop for a while as a slight chest infection is keeping me away from my cold workshop - boo!

just go for it. melts beautifully, lovely creamy glass. great colours too.

Thanks for that, Shirley... I suspected I could just play with it but thought it safest to check (don't want to waste any of this lovely glass!)

a lot of the ask104 love a slightly reduction flame (which the hh on bulk should give you) so it should work nicely.

Have a look at this website:

That will tell you about striking and reducing the colours.
