Hi everybody,
Can anyone give me some tips on CIM khaki?  I have a kilo I bought a little while back but hadn't got round to using yet.  The rods are really, really shocky to start with and when I have tried to make into a bead it just boils and scums and froths etc etc.  I tried it as a base and the frothy bit crept up round all the other colours.  Can anyone give me any advice on what I could try or does it sound like there may be something amiss with this batch? It looks so nice I'm dying to use it in something. ???

It could be much worse, but... it could also be much, much better...

By coincidence I have done the same, bought some ages ago and just got it out to play this morning.  Mine is not especially shocky, but it did boil when I got it too hot. I only made a couple of beads as I have been trying out colour combo's today.  It seemed to work okay with frit.  (Not sure about combo's I chose thought - probably won't be posting results!)

When I was testing it for them I got the same, it devitted on me, and was very shocky and did weird boiling scummy bubbly things. that was back in august.

might be worth getting Kathy Seamonds onto it?
