Quote from: Les on May 08, 2014, 04:58:28 PMI have FINALLY managed to get my head around consistent encasing ... it's only taken me about 10 years  ::) ::) ::)

There's still hope for me then, do I have to keep practicing or will I just wake up one morning and boom!  :-\

Les

Heh ... well I have to admit to it just coming together this time around. I've lost count of the number of previous sessions that ended up in the jug of watery doom

Fantastic beads everyone! :)

Les, congratulations for the encasing!

Hehe ... *takes a bow* ... thank you Kathy ! :D :D

Lovely beads - especially those silver black hearts - gorgeous!

A couple of tree beads and sets from me this week.  The question is, is it a squirrel or a fox below?

DementedMagpie

A bit of a "cute critter" theme going on this week, I keep going "awwww, those eyes"

Nothing of the sort from me. I have two boxes of bits of bottle glass; one has been used for a few things already, and the other was a bit neglected, so I thought I'd set this right.

I just realised there's an alcohol theme here: the dark green transparent beads used to be a cider bottle, and the spacers are Dirty Martini.

Some lovely beads this week everyone.

This week I'm still playing with my new minor so I've been replaying lots of ideas I had on the hothead.

Secondly I've been having a go at replicating Helens superb carousel beads, and I am now even more in awe of the ease at which she makes it looks.

Lovely owls Les, love that purple set Mark.   Well done for trying the carousel beads - I had one go, based on how they look but without actually seeing Helen demo them - didn't come out too bad but I will have another go sometime soon!

Really lovely work, just having a glassy fix as so busy with textile orders at moment no time to melt glass. Fabulous work. Cheers Claire  Xx
