Apologies for those who have already seen me jumping up and down with excitement, but I have FINALLY managed to get my head around consistent encasing ... it's only taken me about 10 years  ::) ::) ::)

Lovely bead gallery this week.

I have an idea for a new direction in my Rare Earth Series and this was just to be a test. The piece came out of the kiln so good that it is a keeper, it also helped in the new direction.

HOT encasing blob ... COOL base bead :D
The rest was just down to PPP in the application. I found that the faster it went on, the more even the encasing layer :)
