I need some very saturated white, by some called enamel white I believe. What is best, what is available in Europe?
It is for making japanese style murrini. Actually I believe that last year I read somewhere that Satake had made a 104 coe white especially for that, but I can't find it again, so maybe my memory is playing me a trick.
Kugler should have an enamel white, I have a Kugler white, but it is not very saturated, so I wonder if they have a "normal" white too?

Also, does anyone in Europe sell frits from Glassdiversions.com, I am particularly looking for Coffee Bean?

Kathe, I have just ordered enamel white to stock in my Val Cox shop. It should be here in about 7-10 days. I don't know whether I have anything similar to coffee bean. I'll have a look.

Thanks for your order, too :)

Sounds good, but what I am looking for is white rod, coe 104...would like an update if you find some coffee brown!

The coffee brown looks really nice. Afraid I don't have a brown blend at all, just bitter sweet, which is a dark chocolate.

Manda at Mangobeads has some Kugler rods, so I don't know whether it is worth you asking her?

Thanks, have been looking, no luck so far.

I think I need to try the special Effetre white, called Smalto, sold by Gunnar Haag in Germany:

Or hope that Kugler glass will make an enamel white in the Beadmaking 104 series.

Has anybody heard of a white coe 104 Satake glass? I stumpled upon it sometime this winter, but didn't save the link, and now I can't find anything about it, not even on Satake's site!

Hi Kathe
You could try Vickie at http://www.vickiesemporium.co.uk/frit-addiction-2/ she has lots of 104 frit.

If you email Vickie she may be able to do a blend for you as I think she is looking to offer a custom blend service  :)

I am offering a custom blends service hopefully will be set up by Monday.
I have effetre white and the darkest brown I have at the moment is dark chocolate brown.
I am waiting on some cutting bits to do any other colours.

Hi Vickie,
When you say Effetre white, is it standard white nr. 204, or smalto white nr. 465?

I think there must be a variety of dark browns in the Coffee Bean frit, some of them reactive. If you come up with something similar, please let us know! Meantime I will try blending something myself.
