Don't think I've started a gallery before and can't believe noone has got here before me!

I finished a ring at silversmithing this morning. Lovely piece of labradorite that I got from Monty's Beads in a Sterling bezel setting. It's mine, and every time I wear it I shall try to remember to make the next one better!

And now I realise this is probably posted in the wrong thread for jewellery....DOH!

Oh that ring is just lovely, the stone is amazing. I am rubbish at posting so I thought I would for a change and show a few things I have done lately.

Pat from Canvey

Mention of goddess beads in another thread made me see whether I still remember how to make them. This was done a couple of days ago, front view

back view

three quarter view,

The goddess is 50mm in length excluding wire.
Only just got my internet connection back, hence the delay in posting.
Someone else, off Forum, mentioned fish beads so I've revisited a simple one of those with a horizontal mandrel hole.

Will make one with a vertical hole next I think.

Glassy Lou

Lovely stuff from everyone again this week.
Oh Pat, how I wish I had a bottom like that of your goddess!
Here's my offering for the week. I'm not really sure what to call them...

The Tartan Trout

This really wasn't doing what it was meant to, but I put it in the kiln anyway as it was too much of a waste of glass to 'water'. Its 50 x 45mm and according to my fb friends it looks like a sea slug. I will persevere and try again next week :)

Dee Dee

Thanks all for the lovely comments on my Greek Key bead!

More fab beads since I got chance to check in...

Great selection Madpup!
Beautiful disks Helen, especially the encased ones!
Love the week girlie Les, she's fab, as are the hares and the badger!
Beautiful organics Amber!
Great goddess Pat, she has indeed got a great butt!
Fab selection of pendants Louise, I'd wear them all (not all together though lol!).
Great pinks in your bead Margaret!
It's a whopper Sarah, and interesting!
Very lovely set Yvette, with some rainbow scribbles murrini I spy!
Great studs!

More sandblasting from me again ..... I loved the black Greek Key bead and thought it would look good in red - so I gave it a go!  Also a zipped up bit of fun inspired by a manicure picture that I'd seen online!
