Can anyone help?
Have been tring to make dots which are long and oval, centered at bead equator and stretching towards both bead holes, but without putting a wind of clear over the dots.  I've tried crowding dots on a tyre shape (black base) to see if they pull to the mandrel at both ends when heated, this worked a bit, but they ended up looking squarish. Anyone point me to a tutorial/thread or can tell me how it's done.

I watched this the other day, In it Kristina Logan spreads some of her dots out into ovals using what looks like a kitchen knife. Might be worth a try?

Have you tried dragging the dots with a pointy tool? Heat just the dot, wait a moment catch the edge and drag. Repeat if needed. (Sounds like a prescription :)) Sorry if you already do this :) :)

Oh yeah, Kristina shows you how in that video!! ;D
