Thimble Mandrel

 Does anyone know where I can get a thimble mandrel. I have found one but its about £20 equivalent from the US. I would be intrested if anyone knows of some cheaper.!

Have you tried Martins website ( tuffnell)they may have some on there but they are closed for christmas but you could try them...

Artistry in glass list one at $6.75Ca.  Not sure about shipping.  Possibly too small for your fingers, though?

Kaz on the forum had one 'still in the wrapper' over a year ago.  No idea if it has been used or is still wanted or whatever.  Apart from that - maybe contact your local model engineering club/association/society?
