HELP URGENT

I have messed my prog up instead of skipping segment i pressed the wrong button and now trhe temp is climbing what do i do

pull the plug, wait for a minute or two and then plug it back in again.  It should have stopped the program ti thought it was on and then you can start which ever program you meant to run

Thank you, I have done that put it back on the prog I was on, then skipped it correctly to the annealing part and its now doing that. It was the climbing temp that caused the panic, I thought I would be looking at pools of molten glass!!

When I got my first kiln and was getting it set up Sean very wisely said to me, you are in control and you can always pull out the plug.

I think it was that mixture of arrggggg and beep I have spent all afternoon playing and what have I done?? Thinking it through what you said was exactly right. I have now written down the skipping instructions so in the future I'll follow that.
