Gallery's a bit quiet this week - anybody would think you're all getting ready for some event this weekend  ;D ;D

Well, this is more of a mis-make; a fused glass mosaic dish which got the hump....I still like it, just not sure what I will do with it yet!

Dee Dee

Lovely Dawn, I quite like it upside down! ;D

A couple of bits from yesterday....

And I am chuffed with the peacock colours that came out of this pair.....

I liked the shape of the top of the Ankh so much that I decided I would just make the top section.  I then decided that it needed something in the middle.  Then someone wanted a bigger version, so here they all are.  It's the first press/roller combination I have made.

being as its quiet but classy i thought i would upload one more  ;D - needs a good clean - once it is annealed after the weekend

gaia and elektra over antique clear with a clear coating, cant really see the metallic blue/green very well but it shimmers in the sunlight  - bit of a mix so hope I it survives the kiln !

A Long time ago in Egypt cats were worshipped as Gods, cats have not forgotten this !

The Tartan Trout

I put these on fb yesterday. Someone asked for a bracelet with them. I obliged. Photo sent for approval. Money in my account...now if only it worked that well for every set :) :)

This is a huuge post and rush before I leave!

Striking glass spacers: magic, pandora, multicolour dark, raku

Teeny dangle beachy beads. Amber beads. More red and orange toppers (used transparents so no cracks this time).

Flame beads and fiery beads with Jolene's shards. Some more little earstuds (though only about two of these match in size...)

An aquarium bead (pretty big!). Then a couple of unfortunates... the orange stripy bead appears to have been decorated with fried eggs! The last one looks ok when in bright light, but otherwise is very dark.

Very last: Beads of Courage critters! I am calling the little dudes Mr Potato Men in my head, since they're something of a cross between Mr Men and Mr Potato Head.

More loveliness since my last visit!  Love the top of the Ankh beads, Peter, great shape!

Really pleased with this set....

Peter: An etsy shop doesn't take long to set up, not hinting, just saying.  ::) ::)

Steph: I love the pink heart, it's beautiful.

I had a whole day (almost) torching yesterday (my own mini flame off, on my own, in the kitchen) so I'm going to hog (but spread it out throughout different threads)
Buttons from Trudi's tut in this month's B&B, Thank you Trudi, I need some buttons for a sewing project, this was just at the right time.

My niece asked if I could make some beads for a friend of hers.

And this one was a disaster averted. The base bead didn't do what it was meant to do so I just kept decorating.

I'm off to a different thread. See you there.  ;D

Looks like I get to start this week's gallery

I am very pleased with my first ever ring toppers (well, technically there were 3 others that went in the water pot along the way, but you know what I mean!!).   The first one is much nicer in real life...

Manuela, I think your bead could chase a rainy day away. Love the colors.

Made a similar one a few months ago as a present for my mother.
