I merrily used almost a whole rod before realising that was all I had.. and it was mixed in with my CIM but I have a feeling it is northstar (it's black in the rod but reduces really easily)?
Anyhow, anyone know where I can buy some?

oh no! I used it all through one of my owl beads, instead of just the top layer

What a shame

I will have to be more careful in future - are there any other glass rods I should be sparing with? I am hanging on to my little bit of Terra..

I just found it in the states, you can buy a quarter pound for $25, but the postage quoted is $31 which is just silly, so I have messaged and asked if there is a cheaper postage option.
Also, if I spend more than £18 I'll get charged import duty, won't I? or is that just on the goods and not including postage?

Aww boo, they got back to me - they have a minimum order of $100. Still really want some, is Frantzartglass easy to deal with? I've never bought any glass from the States..

Which have a minimum order? Sundance?

I bought my torch and starter tool kit along with a mix pack of Moretti from Sundance. I chose shipping with USPS (postal services) and it worked just fine. Everything arrived fairly swiftly and in proper order, well packed and nothing was broken.

Frantzartglass are fine to deal with and have a great selection of glass but my first order from them got sent to the UK and then swanned about in Parcel force for weeks (not their fault).

They've just sent another order and given me a tracking number - that USPS site doesn't recognise so I can see further fun this time as well

I got some black pearl - from a lovely lady on LE who kindly cut the rods in half to get them into cheaper postage

So, anybody want to swap two half rods for a rod of clio?

I only got a 1/4 so I really only want to do one swapsie..
