wow jo,
my rods look pink, if i make a bead they are pale green, if i put those beads in the kiln they come out pink,
maybe i have copper green not red copper green,
not complaining nice beads !

Maybe you could try them out in a more reducing flame? I have some "red" looking red copper green rods that I got recently from tuffnels, do you want to trade a couple?

think we have rods from the same batch!
mine were from martin .
do you think those beads i made should have changed so much in the kiln?

Could be the same batch then if our came from the same supplier. I got mine early November last year but it doesn't look pinkish at all.

In all honesty I haven't tried the red copper green out yet and don't know if it will kiln strike at all. I am itching to see the pics of your beads

I got red copper green from martin too 5 rods were red and 1 was green 
just to confuse you .
i have tryed both and still got poo i tryed it with raku frit as i didnt have silver blue frit .
