Gas leak??

Hi, just gone and purchased an 11L Propane bottle. Got the HH torch and hose kit and connected it all.

Apart from the nightmare of trying to light it I checked the connections with some washing liquid and water and found bubbles forming around the 1st stage connector into the bottle. It is connected as tight as possible but still seems to be leaking. Should there be an "o" ring in the tank where the 1st stage connects to it as it just appears to be metal to metal connection?

Any help much appreciated.

I know nothing about O rings, but mine has some PTFE tape wrapped round the connections to help keep it tight. That doesn't apply to the regulator/bottle seal though, which I would have thought should be able to be tight enough on its own??

Thanks for the advice. I also spoke to Sally and added some ptfe tape to the connection and it works fine.
