I've been making a few lentils this week, and loads of them have come loose on the mandrel, what am I doing wrong.  I'm using bead fusion from Martin, the grey stuff which is fab for most stuff I do.

If you're using a press make sure you let go of the mandrel as you press. I find I can break the bead release if I hold on. :)

I don't know if you have dip n go blue sludge, but that's what I use in the States.  It's extra tough and is wonderful for my sculptural stuff and extra wiggling.

No I don't have any of that, only Dirty Louie which I really don't like and Bead Fusion.  I wonder if the Dirty Louie would be any better, may give that a try.

I use fusion for lentils.. is yours thin enough? Sometimes if it's a bit thick on the mandrel it crumbles at the ends, I like it quite thin..
