Hmm....Thanks for the link Sarah - but that's a heck of an ugly bead at the start, I nearly spat out my soup!  ;D

Vicki

:D :D :D it looks like all the local strays decided to add a bit...its the funniest bead i ever saw....it's brilliant ;D

I won't be getting any of this new fangled pandora, my kiln is burning enough of a hole in the o-zone as it is ;)

*rowanberry*

I got some lovely results the once with Pandora (after 14 hours in annealling though!) but alas I encased with Lauscha and crrrrr-ack! So I tried to make more, poo poo more poo followed by poo (baby poo beige). Tried not encased and they are black and wont budge from black all except for some which are very very dark purple. I've gone through 2 thirds of my Pandora and only had one successful bead.

Pandora's keeping her box lid tight for me!

Lush!

Well ... I bore in mind the advice about cooling and went for the part of my kiln that Sarah D. reckons is the coolest ... and it worked! Yay!

Nothing too exciting, but at least I got another bead like the one I liked, and I've made the lady's necklace and now at least Pandora will have paid for herself  ;D

(And I agree about that bead on LE Sal, I didn't like to say anything over there, but what was it meant to be anyway ... I mean, even if it had come out purple it wouldn't have looked any better!!)

remember those beads I posted
this is them after one annealing cycle

3 of them went back in the kiln once up to 510 ( normal as you go annealing) and came out the same so they went in again ( batch anneal cycle upto 530 for 4 hours) and this is them today
