Les, thanks for that mate, how are things on the South side of the city? ;)

Yes Glasskanvas, a possible solution! We make a kiln virtually identical in size to the GF75 (we haven't copied, ours was here first) that is 3kw and plugs into a normal socket. The GF75 is European and so hence possibly why it uses a little more power as in Europe there sockets can carry a little more.

Or

we also make the Hobbyfuser, our best selling kiln, which is slightly smaller but much cheaper and again, plugs in. I have sent you a PM mate.

As for operating either kiln out of your apartment, well, I don't see any major issues other than the obvious ones such as keeping it clear of the curtains and a bit of ventilation e.t.c. but that depends on what you are putting in the kiln. We have a lady less than a 100 yards from our factory who uses a Hobbyfuser in her bedroom!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o
