Flame keeps going out

Hi  i dont know what i might be doing wrong but as soon as i add the oxygen to my lit flame it goes out can anyone tell me what i might be doing wrong.

its best to not turn the oxycon off at the tap appart from the lighting bit.  when you turn the propane on... very slowly add the oxygen... it will work... while my oxycon is still warming up my torch behaves like that

Yeh... I find that kind of thing happens when my oxycon hasn't quite got up to the right O2 concentration ... till it gets to the correct operating level, it just tends to blow air, knocking my flame out.

yep, this is an oxycon that is still only blowing air...

best to open the oxy tap on the torch... turn the oxy on and go and make and have a cup of tea/pint of G&T depending on your mood.. by the time you get back the oxycon will have started converting oxy and be good to go...
