Hi All,

I've been playing with DH aurae and it's making pretty colours, yay!  But today I made a bead of crocus with bumpy dots of aurae.  When I took it out of the kiln into the watery scottish sunshine, I noticed not only that the crocus had fumed and gone yellow, but it was also irridescent in the same way as the dots, but not as much.

I've been looking through previous and it seems that a lot of glasses do this - I tested heffalump and eff. pearl grey as well and just got yellowy brown beads but no irridescence.  Do all glasses get fumed by silver?  Sorry if this is a dumb question - I did do a search first.

Thank you!!
Kathy
