Have been working in my shed making some earrings for Christmas presents and while I was there I decided to bite the bullet and prepare some mandrels so that I could melt some glass over the Christmas break.  When I opened the bead release it was very thick so I added a bit of water and shook and mixed it.  Did I do the right thing?  What consistency should it be?

You did just the right thing - just shake it good n proper ,  consistency should be like that of thick cream for most bead releases .

I am missing shed time already and its not yet Christmas  >:( Intend to sneak in there at some point over the festive break or else I wont be worth knowing !

Thanks Manda.  I've been avoiding going into my shed for some time but having made 3 pairs of silver earrings for christmas over the last couple of days, I really enjoyed it and feel a bit more "encouraged".
