so the time has finally come to swap from tiny (and very expensive!) 1lb propane cannisters to a bulk fuel set up :) Still going to be using the HH for a while yet buy weeehheeeeyyyyyy!! no more panicking about running out!!

My lovely bf is taking me to the welding shop today to see which bits we can pick up there, and i've realised I don't know what diameter propane hose to get. I've had a read and it appears that some of you use 8mm and some use 6mm, but that's for a range of different torches! Does it matter as long as the fittings i buy are the corresponding size?

Also, just want to check that i'm not missing anything here, so this is what i've worked out so far:

From the propane tank - regulator (4 bar adjustable) > flashback arrestor (screws into regulator?) > quick connects > hose > rothenberger adapter > torch.

Do I need any hose clamps to secure the hose to the rothenberger adapter?

hahaha, this was meant to be a quick post before we set off to the shop, seems I have more questions than I thought!

Thanks in advance you lovely lot :)
