I started out trying to recreate the man in the moon pendant from Emma's class. The initial curve of the moon was great. I was happy and then it all went downhill from there. I should have switched to a much smaller flame for the nose. Not wanting to lose all that glass, being the skinflint that I am, I remelted the whole thing into a marble. It's reasonably round and 39.5 mm in diameter. The bloom is probably from too much silver foil.

I like it! Though it is a shame about the man in the moon, I suspect you are right and you needed a smaller flame for the detail. I have to say, though, that this looks like quite a happy accident.

looks good you do not always need a small flame you can also use the edge!
if there is no small flame  ;)

I think that looks great!
I'd never have known it came about by accident.
