What tools do I need to begin making soft glass marbles?

I also do as Kaz and Sean do, although I would like some grippy tools!

I've only made one marble but used a cold join punty, broke the marble off into the marble mold, pointed the torch down on the scar and polished it out in the mold, then dumped the marble out of the mold into the kiln on the kiln shelf!

I do a variation on this (not that I've made many). For the last punty I use a metal rod, then heat the rod and let the mib (!) drop into the mould. Then polish off the scar in the mould. Also, there isn't space to turn my mould over in my bead cube, so there is a step where it goes from the mould to a spoon and into the kiln!

My bead cube door is not big enough to tip the marble off the marble roller, so the tongs Glenn put up would be ideal for me. Might risk having another go if I knew I could get them in the kiln without trying to juggle!
