Doh! I forgot to remove the labels from the glass when making my latest plate. Is there anything I can do to remove it, or at least make it look like I didn't buy it in a shop and make a hash of taking the price sticker off?   :-\

Thanks in advance, L

Refire it with a bit of dichro over the top?  Maybe with another bit elsewhere to balance it.

Good idea, but I think dichro might be a bit wasted - forgot to mention this is the underside of the plate.

Aaaaaaaah!  How about a sprinkling of enamel?  You could scratch your initials in it, and make it into a signature.

sandblast / etch it is always my fall back :)

Is it outside or inside? If outside then sandblast or etch?

It's on the outside but it's the bottom of the plate. I can't believe i didn't remember to remove the stickers. Oh well - lesson learned :)

Etching usualy makes it look worse, sandblasting would be your best bet, failing that use a glassline pen to outline the area and then sign inside it, refire and you have a dedicated signature area.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I'll mull it over for a bit  :-*
