Help how do you melt carousel cabochons?

Carousel Cabochons are a bit more involved than just putting beads in the kiln 

I was just referring to beads that have perhaps something wrong on one side, Julie and that lend themselves to be turned into cabochons, not your carousel cabochons. I thought that people might want to start with something simple and gain confidence before embarking on a carousel cabochon.
