Hi all
I'm struggling to find a site or page that can point me in the right direction to working out how much frit to use in my ceramic moulds (for glass). I have used ceramic moulds for the past 19 years so know everything about the pottery side etc as I teach this, however I would like to have a play with some frit etc just not sure how much to use and which firing process would be best,
any help information I would be so grateful.
Thanks guys X

Ok, first of all which ceramic molds do you have, when you say about frit do you mean this sort of mold http://www.warm-glass.co.uk/casting-moulds-jewellery-and-casting-moulds-c-96_152.html, if you click on any of those molds there is a firing schedule underneath.

And there is some good info here

Or here

If you are using Bullseye it's a good schedule to follow but remember the first time you use it to take notes of what is happening at what temp because you kiln may run slightly hotter or slightly cooler.

Have fun ;D
