Hollow Beads

I have been trying to master the art of making hollow beads this week. I am nearly there but having trouble getting my beads all the same size  Does anyone have any good tips on how to do this please.

I use my brass dooming block that I got from Tuffers years ago.  I also mark the mandrel so the original discs are placed the same distance apart.  Hope that helps.

I make one, get all quivery, think bugger that and never get as far as making a second let alone a set I do tend to do just one off hollows so a big hollow heart, two little beads in a hollow and recently big hollow bottles.

A set................oooer, makes me cold just thinking about it
