If you have a stuck bead, soak the bead and mandrel in descaler.

I had two that were completely stuck, hot water, cold water, freezer, pliers, vice - noting was budging them.

I had some descaler under the sink, £1 ish from Savers, or Wilcos or somewhere, so I thought, I'll give it a go. 

20 mins later - they slid right off.

Could've been a coincidence, but it may be worth a try.
