I got some of these today thanks to your recommendation Julie - arrived just in time for setting up my nice shiny new Minor, and made it a doddle to do, so thanks for posting the link.  I'm not sure if they can also be used to remove the lemon clips, but couldn't figure it out.

Lush!

Hmm, I don't know about removal either.  My tool also arrived today, looks like just the job - glad to be of help  ;D

I was just kind of wondering what the hole in the middle of the tool is for.... it's not needed for actually tightening the clips, so didn't know if it served some other purpose lol

LOL. These are just renamed carpenters pincers (which you can get in poundland for, erm, a pound) or from any cheap tool shop.

The hole's where the nail goes when you're pulling them out....

It'd have to be a bloody big nail, the hole's quite big!! ;D

Oh good idea Julie ;D, I never thought of getting these ?? Should I try and stock them?
What do you guys think?

Yes to selling them, I like any sort of tool or gadget......my tool box is bigger than my hubbies!

Lush!

Yep, if you can get them cheap enough!

I think anyone buying the intial kit would welcome having one of these included in it too Emma.  People frequently post on here going "I've just bought all the intial kit from Tuffnells but how do you get the bloody clip done up", so if it could be included in the starter kit I would think that would be hugely helpful to a lot of people.

You spoke, I listened. Looking into getting them. Watch this space
