Hope i'm not asking the obvious....but after watching the video a couple of times, can anyone tell me what the 2 bits of thick stringer were for?  they weren't used, was it just an alternative to the glass bits?

Hi!
I made 2 pairs, but then decided it was boring to show the same thing 4 times so edited it. But I left the the bit where I cut the glass to show that you need a longer piece if you use a thinner stinger. Too obvious, it seems. Sorry.

If it's got a hole, it's a bead !

I've just ordered 50 pairs, thanks Verena.

If anyone wants to take some off my hands they are welcome to contact me, I doubt I'll get through that lot very quickly!

Glassy Lou

I ordered mine on January 5th, but they haven't arrived yet.
Should I be worried...?  ;)

Louise I ordered mine on the 5th too, they are in my account history as shipped (edit looked again and it says shipped on the 9th) and I'm not worrying.

Post is probably having a go slow again, my normal post is taking a couple of days more than it normally would at the moment.

I ordered mine on 6th they are just showing as paid for so I am starting to worry  :( thought they would have shipped by now :'(

Hi everybody!
In order to keep the postage costs down we took the slower option, so it can take up to 2 weeks before they arrive. If they haven't arrived by that time, please contact me. Thanks!

Enchanted Cobwebs

Mine arrived today - thank you

Just one question, I bought the clips but wonder if I have the right ones because the post wobbles around and doesnt feel secure at all. If I have the right ones should it clip in and stay rigid or am I being a wimp? Would a pin vice be more secure?

I found mine wobbles too, so got a pin vice, but it got too hot.  Had a cunning plan, now put pins in pin protector, which holds it securely, then put that in rod holder, when finished remove with pliers.  Janet

Ah, the wobbles.  Yes I had that too.  Then ran out of time so will have another go when I get back next week.

Yes, it slightly wobbles with my croc clips, too, but I quickly got used to that and after the 3rd pair that was no problem. I prefer the clips to a pin vice, because I can get the studs out of them while they are still hot and so can reuse the clips for the next pair immediately.
