The colours look truly painted on IRL - not intentional but quite lovely ...

Princess Peggy (Priscilla McGirr)

I do like that Flutterbug!  And Manda's sizzling red beauty!

Here's some bugs from me, using Tuffnell's dichroic noodles.  I just love their new uranium pastel yellow too.

And a monstrous ring top that lost it's nut and then I broke a bit off banging it on the table!

Well I never, looks like I get to start this week.

These beads are from Smiltroy's Dragon Scales Tutorial (very easy it is too - highly recommend it to beginners)

These are a little set using Peachy Keen and Effetre Light Brown, with a teeny bit of dichro in some of them:

Finally, I really loved making these.  It's nice to make something that makes you smile inside and I love sparkly things, so I was in my element - I shall be making more!

Thanks for looking x

Kalorlo

I love the blue dragonscales, Helen!

I made a whole pile o'gremlins at the weekend.

Here's closeups of a couple (I haven't finished editing all the individual pics so they aren't all on flickr yet).

That's Lauscha ironwood and Vetro purple plum, which goes really metallic. I'm thinking of doing another one with that and soaking it in cillit bang to see the difference.

Amber

Wowowow, what a lot of lovely sparkle from everyone!

I've got a little bit of sparkle and shine myself...Magic, partially reduced;

And Mojito with SIS and silver foil

It's Wednesday already??  I don't know where the week's going to?  Fab Gallery this week...

The dragon scale beads are beautiful Helen, especially the pink one - wow! And the dichroics are lovely too!
Loving the gremlins Heather - it's amazing how much personality is in each one!
Great sparkles in your Aegean beads, Sarah!
Such lovely colours you got out of Magic Amber, I don't think I've ever got anything worth looking at! (Maybe I should try again!).

A couple more sandblasted bits...

Love that bottom bead Jeanie, and also that fantabulous heart Chipperpottery

I am sneaking back on here to post a few more pictures as I have been boring people on Facebook with them today.  I think after 3 years of this glass malarky I am finally making some progress with striking silver glass.  I was doing a happy dance this morning.  Apologies for the hoglet!

And finally a test Dragon Scale bead using Aurea, so please excuse the random dottage!  It looks just like fish scales in real life:

Love the silver glass, I've been practising on some cab mandrels my fantastic neighbour made for me in his shed and am having a load of fun with dots and trying different glass. Having a bit of a fling with rubino oro which has sat in my stash for ages.

I dusted off the Storm Tutorial and had a proper play - I think when I first came to it I was too new to beadmaking to really "get" it, but I'm happy with these:
