Love your flower trail beads Ilona - I noticed them as they remind me of the beads I made this week too -

The first time I did this design with little fine silver flowers as well, and I was happy with the branches on it, I haven't been able to do it quite as well again..

I've not got any trees to show, only elephants. Been messing around too much this week. And they haven't got holes in them so they're not beads. Can I still post?

Nice elephants.  I don't think I could make a press for one of those.  I am trying to figure out how to do a dalek though.

Sal, yes, I do sell my presses and other tools.

I'm not sure what I'm going with the shells.  I only have the one size so far.  It has the advantage of not requiring trimming after pressing.  I'm trying to program up a set of them ranging from two smaller one up to a rather large one, suitable for bar room brawling.  One problem is with the mandrel hole going straight through the axis of the shell.  It makes them more suitable for a focal, but it is a bit small for that.  I've been trying a few variations with the mandrel hole going across at various places.  That would make them easier the tread.  I think I have 5 or 6 on the bench at present.

Just enough time to sneak this one in between all the chores. It sort of reminds me of the standing stones around here with carved cup and ring marks, but have had a go with CZ so there's also a bit of bling! Gave them a good old poke to see if they drop out as I didnt encase them-so far so good!

Just wish I could get rid of the mandrel line as it does distract a bit.

Such gorgeous work from everybody - it makes me feel very humble indeed OK, a VERY quick post from me and only because it's a special day! This is a bracelet I made for my Mum for her birthday last month. I have to thank Sarah Brown (The Tartan Trout) for photographing it for me and Helen Gorick (Helen G Beads) for her wonderful and patient teaching skills - thanks you two! I finally feel confident in encasing, although my decorating needs a lot more PPP!  Happy Mothers Day to all you lovely ladies xx

Morning everyone!  It's been quite a while since I posted in the Gallery, and as it's Monday morning here in Oz I thought I'd start!   I got a new heart press for my birthday, and I just love the shape of it.  This is what I made....

Lovely heart, I love the shape of the Bavarian 3D heart press.

Finally finished my Pansy brooch. I had to make a few little repairs, but this time I didn't glue the broken petals but put the flower back in the kiln and repaired it at the torch.
