Pink glass

Thus far, I have only managed to get a very pretty pale pink, with streaks of a much brighter pink, and that's by treating it like a striking silver glass, with repeated deep cooling and striking sequences, and judicious use of brass.  I can see it has the capacity to be deeper in colour but can't get a constant result from it.

I have only got a pale pink from Kuglar too - lovely but not deep.  The best thing I have found is Bullseye frit and Rubino as encasing, followed by Reichenback opal raspberry.

Eek, wish I'd not reread this thread. Rather a lot of glass just jumped into my tuffnells basket!!!!! Watch out pink, here I come!!!!! ;D :D ::)
