Ok, now i'm really peed off.
As you can see from my piccies I thought I had sussed it, not so  :(
I put a load on last night and had a fair few pieces in there so confident was I of my success but every single one came out with the top all wonky  :'( and not sealing the hole off.
I'm tearing my hair out here.  >:(

If you post a picture of what happened it might be easier to see how to fix it.
How are you making the hole? Sometimes if the fibre paper or cocktail stick dipped in bead release or mandrel, or however you are creating it, is slightly too thick then the cap can kinda slide off as it's heating up. The trick is to ensure that if this is the case you add extra tiny bits of glass to prop up the top layer. Tricky to explain without pictures, but hope this helps.

I was wondering about that but would that not make the pendant fatter where the extra glass is? Kind of going in at the sides where the hole will be?
I will try it out anyway.
Thank you  :)

You should only be using tiny bits of extra clear glass - just enough to 'balance' the top layer. It should not be noticeable once you have taken to full fuse.
