The OH's father has one of the bench mounted drills that drill a perfect vertical hole. I knocked up a couple of mandrel blocks with the holes about 5mm apart and they never touch the only problem is having so many mandrels prepared that you don't get to bed until the day after tomorrow.

Good ideas,

never thought of rice... nagged hubby into getting some sand from father in laws, I have a cupboard full of rice.... oh well, used some old stainless steel tea, coffee containers.

Got told off the other day for using a chisel to undo my mapp gass holder, we must have 50 screwdrivers in the house ( hubby used to work in a tools wharehouse) buy can I find 1...
