bubbles

I have tried to make air bubbles with brass shavings but only getting brown spots in the bead.  Would anyone mind telling me what I am doing wrong please.

Are you using them in boro, as if so it won't work  I think the effect only works in soft glass. It's the same with copper, the copper just melts and starts combining with the boro rather than staying intact

I am trying the brass shavings with effetre clear.  Do you have to do anything special?
