Yellow friend

I have done the classic - chose some project from the Laura McCabe book- took it on holiday and didn't have enough of a certain bead.  Now I'm back I can't find them anywhere.  Have bought some 15/0's from GJ & Bojangles and both are the wrong colour.  I think I bought them at a bead fair in a little plastic bag so dumped them into a plastic box without putting a name or colour ref.!!  I find that 15/0's are quite difficult to get hold of so may have to wait until the next bead fair. They are a bronzy green transparent but with what looks like a gold lining.  Any suggestions of other good suppliers/specialists would be gratefully received.  Maybe I should post a picture of the few I have left?

Not sure we have the colour you are describing but I'll have a look in the shop tomorrow.
We're not selling online yet but hope to be soon. However, I'm always happy to bypass t'Internet  ;D

Thanks Ladies

I will have a look at the various web sites & will take a piccy later this week - I have a feeling I may end up with a bit more than a couple of bags of '15's.  ;) btw they're not delicas V  -just tiny rondelles.

Hope this is clear enough - I wondered if they might be a lined topaz of sorts.

Would be most grateful if one of you can recognise these.

Closest I have found are these ... Clicky here (2.60euro for 11g)
sorry it is a German website (it is normally where I get all my miyukis from) but still - it is so hard to tell - their photography is not brilliant :-\

Thanks Nicola - it could be them - I stupidly thought they could be gold or green lined but the close up lens shows its probably silver! The old mincies aren't as good as they used to be :)

I'd say silver-lined topaz - fortunately quite a standard colour!

Good luck :)

Do you know what - 'root beer' sounds familiar - I really wish I'd kept the packet now.
