My Oxycon has taken a turn for the worse and i'm really hoping recovery is a possibility as really can't afford a new replacement..... I've crawled around under the  work bench, disconnected and removed the filter at the back (which fell apart in my hands!).  Haven't a clue what else i should do!
I've emailed Martin to see if he can help .
The black ball in the transparent tube just isn't moving, i had noticed the flame was far more propaneish and i couldn't adjust it, that's when i got down there with the spiders and dust...

All you lovely ladies are so helpful and clever i'm really hoping someone with the same oxycon has some suggestions (other than start saving for a new one!)
I've been looking for my service manual but must have lost it in the move, does anyone have one  they could email me it's for the Devilbiss Mini DeVo2 MC44, fingers crossed :)

Sadly had to say goodbye to my oxycon - martin couldn't service this model and although i did the filters and looked inside (all seemed Ok and it had had new seive bed and valves at some stage) couldn't get it to work properly.  It hadn't actually done that many hours, i think it was just too old.   Now have a newer one (thankyou martin!)  and it makes me realise how underpowered my old one had become!  Now all i need is some inspiration! :)
